Franck Ribéry has sustained a minor injury and is rated doubtful for the midweek Champions League meeting with Viktoria Plzen. The European Player of the Year turned his right ankle and picked up a sprain in Bayern’s final pre-match training session prior to the weekend clash with Mainz 05. Ribéry sat out the Bundesliga fixture as a precaution. “It's nothing serious and I wanted to play, but the doc said it was too much of a risk,” reported Ribéry, who is still hopeful of featuring in Wednesday’s Allianz Arena contest against the Czech side.
